Week 5 Recap and Photos
First and foremost, we would like to convey our extreme gratitude to the players, staff, and management of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim for dispatching of the dreaded axis of evil charter members, the Yankees. The staff of Football Sunday found this to be a most convenient benefit to their interests and amusement.

Now on to football. After racing back from a superb weekend at Tech, I had to sit through the most dreaded part of the year (aside of course for Redskins fans, which as always is the day free agency begins) for any hard core NFL fan....the bye weekend. Does Paul Taglibue honestly think that by taking away your ability to see your favorite gang of 60 men for two full weeks that you will realize how much you truly appreciate and love your team? Well, it works. After watching a total of 16 hours of kissing-your-sister NFL football, the best looking fans at Football Sunday will get to see their beloved G-Men beat up on the also dreaded and despised Cowboys (that is if the 'Boys don't beat up each other first). Needless to say after 14 long days of pacing and toe-taping we will be looking forward to beating up on Dallas about as much as we are looking forward to seeing Brian (Austin?) Green's (below) triumphant return to primetime TV on the much anticipated ABC situation comedy "Freddie." (Which will be tivoed and screened at halftimes weekly of MNF.)

Brian Austin Green starred as David Silver on the hit show Beverly Hills 90210, where it took him 8 long seasons to finally "seal the deal" with his on-screen love, Donna Martin. In unrelated news, Rick Fromberg (below) will be a featured guest lecturer at West Springfield High School in a two-part assembly entitled, "Nocturnal Emissions: The Real Badge of Manhood."

Congrats to former RB and SuperTecmoBowl Legend Thurman Thomas for having his number retired by the Bills.

Congrats to the Gordon sisters for having their numbers retired by the Radford Chapter of Theta Chi.
Bill Swerski Award Winner: Bucktown

-All we have to say is wow. An outstanding and uplifting comedic performance from a long-time member.
-For example, when presented with the question - If Rick and Nikki had a public access sex talk TV show, what would it be called? Buck cleverly responded, "Wedding Tackle" or "The Family Jewels."
-Buck, along with Joe, prepared 32 glorious made-from-scratch burgers for everyone. Buck can put his hands in our meat anytime he wants.
Jennie Finch Award Winner: Diane

-Another solid showing (despite a mini catnap) from Diane who is quickly rising through the ranks of the elite hardcore regulars.
Notable Happenings:
-We are very pleased to announce that there was no penalties or gunfire.
-In under 48 hours I was able to skillfully convert a born and raised Morgantown-ite, WVU grad., and lifelong Mountaineer fan into a die-hard Hokie football fanatic (left). I guess this is why the Church of Latter Day Saints has been so hot on my trail.-The Redskins suffered a tough loss to the Broncos, giving them a share of first in the NFC East with the Giants. With identical records, big screen tv rights will have to refer to the overall standings from 2004.
-Deuce McAllister went out with a season-ending knee injury.
-Justin Davey went down with a season-threatening air hockey injury. At this time his status for next Sunday is Questionable.
