This blog is intended to enhance the Ware Street football Sunday by promoting discussion, assigning tasks (e.g., the bringing of food and libations), informing the general public of rule changes and new punishments, highlighting outstanding performances and doling out necessary reprimands for actions unbecoming of the football Sunday standards set forth by Thomas Paine, General George S. Patton (U.S. Army-Ret.) and Tom Buhle.

Weekend Bets

When the Redskins play the Eagles, few in the NFL will tune in. Though it has some playoff implications, the Eagles are on life support and their Dr. is Jeff Garcia. The 'skins were DOA as of Monday (though really, I'd have to say when they lost to the Titans).

The Fans and Attendees of Ware Street's Football Sunday will, however, have reason to tune in.

(Other than for the usual Sunday Redskins Nation Sadism)

The Reason is The Bet.

If the Redskins lose Mr. Dustin Gordon will have to wear an elaborate custome (to be constructed by the Eagle Fan he made this AWESOME bet with). Dustin will then have to parade from 123 to Marshall Street on Nutley Street. Skins win, its vice versa.

Who will you cheer for?
