This blog is intended to enhance the Ware Street football Sunday by promoting discussion, assigning tasks (e.g., the bringing of food and libations), informing the general public of rule changes and new punishments, highlighting outstanding performances and doling out necessary reprimands for actions unbecoming of the football Sunday standards set forth by Thomas Paine, General George S. Patton (U.S. Army-Ret.) and Tom Buhle.

Rascati's a Hottie Award

A new award from the editors of Football Sunday. Dedicated to the efforts and achievement of Justin Rascati, the first quarterback to bring a Division I or IAA National Championship to Virginia. All participants, male and female, are eligible to win this award.

Although this weeks games were shortened by the Neo-Terrorists at Dominion Power, there were many great contributors to Football Sunday. Week 1's standouts include Football Sunday Veterans and some of the Valuable New Additions.

This was a tough call, but this innovative young man brought a new element to the view of Football Sunday. His crazy "Manning Commercial" drinking game and foldout chair were a first. This weeks winner is Dan Weiner, a proud parent of partying and the American way.

Cheers to you Danny Boy!
