This blog is intended to enhance the Ware Street football Sunday by promoting discussion, assigning tasks (e.g., the bringing of food and libations), informing the general public of rule changes and new punishments, highlighting outstanding performances and doling out necessary reprimands for actions unbecoming of the football Sunday standards set forth by Thomas Paine, General George S. Patton (U.S. Army-Ret.) and Tom Buhle.

DON'T GET SCARED

NFL CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP SUNDAY
Year in and year out the NFL Conference Championship Sunday proves to be perhaps the best 8 nonstop hours of quality sports entertainment of the year. Fortunately, this year should not be an exception. Though with all highly-anticipated events in history, there are many underlying storylines. (Football Sunday Regulars, as always, will be requested to truly bring their "A" game for this marvelous day of pigskin)
The following is a list of questions that we should ponder going into this Sunday.

-Will Tom Buelle be able to eulogize Wilson Pickett with the same class and dignity that he did for Pat Morita just a few short weeks ago?

Tom has agreed to perform a cover of Pickett's 1966 classic "Land of 1000 Dances" following his eulogy.

-Will this be the weekend that the vandals of Bucktown's automobile are revealed?

-Will Dustin be able to take down Rick in a challenged wing eating contest?

Dustin initially challenged Rick to a baby food eating contest, though Rick declined when the plan involved breaking into Wojo's apartment.

-Who will be most successfuly at warding off "gentlemen callers" in the prison shower at Levenworth - Marcus or Sean Taylor? And why? (would make a good reality show. someone get Rupert Murdoch on the horn)

-Is there any truth to the rumors that former Football Sunday regular and disgruntled Philadelphia Eagles fan Tom Rice will make a comeback performance? (curiously, Tom is 0-7 in appearances since taking on a girlfriend.)

-Will Joe be able to return to his early season form after a few chill performances in which he blamed on a no-beer, no-intensity diet?

-Will Nato be able to maintain his string of Josh Coder-like, high intensity performances, or will he regress back to the guy who spent Sundays in the shed in his backyard attempting to find mathematical codes in the newspaper clippings that cover the walls?

-Will this be the year Steelers fans see their beloved team not bow out prior to the Super Bowl following an outstanding regular season?

-Just how many times will Lesley Speed apologize during one 8 hour span? (please see Dustin Gordon for a form to enter the pool)
